The tune The Red Pill is one of my favorites. It’s a challenging tune and an involved piece harmonically but I feel it still has a really melodic and emotional heart at it’s core. For me, there’s a lot of beauty amidst it’s flurry of notes and high energy. That’s most important. The group in the Cotton Club videos features Eric Gunnison on piano and keyboards, Eduardo “Bijoux” Barbosa on bass, and Louie Palmer on drums.
